Cortex-A53を4コアつんだ $15もしくは$29のPINE 64はAllwinner A64


しばらく前から話題になっていたCortex-A53を4コアつんで$15というRaspbnbery pi形状のボード「PINE64

どこのSoC使ってるんだろ?と確認してみた。

下のほうにある「Pine A64 Hardware PCB information」の中の「Pine A64 Connector Layout」を開いてみましょう。

ボード名「PINE A64」
そして、SoCと思われるチップに「A64」という文字と、その上にAllwinnerのロゴらしきもの。

Allwinner A64」ですね。
製品ページを見てみると「プロセッサーの価格は5ドル」という宣伝文句が・・・

問題は、このAllwinner A64サポートが、どの程度Linux kernelに取り入れられていくか、というところだったり。
どうなっていくことやら・・

Allwinnerってことは、どうせ、そのうちOrange pi系統でも出してきそうなので、ひとまず見送りです。
数ヶ月前は64bit対応はAllwinner H64を使ったOrange pi Plus3wo出す、とか行ってましたが(参考:Orange pi Plus2とOrange pi Plus3がリリース予定)
Allwinner H64の先行きが微妙なようで、進んでいなさげ・・・果たして・・

RAMが2GBになったOrange Pi Plus 2が届いた


RAMが2GBに増強されたOrange Pi Plus 2が届きました。
11/1発注、11/2発送で、11/10到着とはなかなかな好成績でした。

いつもの箱の中にOrange Pi Plus2のボードが入ってました。

今回は、ボードとSATAケーブルだけを買ったのですが、なぜかUSB電源ケーブルが1本おまけで入ってました。
これで3回目の発注になるからサービスなのかな?

上からOrange Pi PC、Orange Pi Plus 2、Orange Pi 2。

Orange Pi 2とOrange Pi PCのコネクタ配置は似ていましたが、Orange Pi Plus 2だと全然違う並びになりました。
というか、電源コネクタがLANコネクタの逆面に配置されてしまったせいで、コネクタが3面に渡って配置されてしまったので、ケース選びが非常に難しくなりました・・・・

で・・・今回、入れるOSですが、Orange Pi PLUSと同じモノが使用できるようです。
なので、今回はOrange pi 2用に作成したloboris版Ubuntu 15.04を書き込んだmicroSD内のuImageとscript.binをOrange Pi PLUS用のものに置き換えて起動!

おや?既に何かデータが・・・
microSDを抜き、ボード単体で起動してみれば、パーテーションから察したとおりにAndroid 4.4.2が起動。
ちなみに、Google Play Store無し版でした。

改めてLinuxで起動し直し、内蔵ストレージにLinuxをインストール。
loboris版では「install_to_emmc」か「install_to_emmc btrfs」を実行すると、インストールされます。
圧縮するということなのでbtrfsでインストールしてみましょう!

Orange Pi 2 / Orange Pi PC用の公式ファイルの転載


Orange Piの「公式ダウンロードページ」には、Baiduにしかアップロードされていないファイルがいくつかあります。

そのようなファイルのうち、Orange Pi 2とOrange Pi PC用のファイルのいくつかを、私のdropboxアカウントに転載しています。
いままではいろんな記事にそれぞれ貼ってありましたが、ここでまとめて紹介しておきます。

なおアップロード先はDropbox無料アカウントのため1日に合計20GB分の転送しかできないという制限がかかっています。
20GBを超えるとと、24時間ダウンロードできなくなります。
24時間経過すると、再びダウンロードできるようになるので、駄目だったら、またあとで試してみてください。

公式ページにあるmega.nzにアップロードされているディストリビューションは、実は上記のloboris版です。
